Technical Lead Software Engineer
Description:
DUTIES:
Lead engineering resources on design and best practice. Aid in planning product development and timelines and provide feedback to marketing or sales teams. Ensure that the development team and technologies being selected are aligned with the business' goals and vision of the company. Develop and maintain web-based systems or applications. Utilize J2EE and related software development technologies to implement highly scalable and reliable enterprise-tier distributed applications. Delegate responsibility for areas of the codebase or project to capable and appropriate team members. Perform product design, bug verification and remediation, as well as production support. Provide technical guidance to engineering resources on designing applications to reduce production bugs and how to remediate. Responsible for technical engineering in software engineering development, Java development, writing shell scripts, and writing SQL scripts. Use programming technologies, including Web API, Microservice, SOAP, LINQ, WCF, VBA, J2EE technologies including JSP, Servlets, EJB, and Tag Libraries, Core Java, Design Patterns, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Spring AOP, Struts, Rest API, JMS, JAXB, XML, JSON, and Web Services. Use web technologies, including HTML, XML, JavaScript, JSP, Classic ASP, JQuery, AngularJS, and Bootstrap. REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field followed by 5 years of progressive technical engineering experience in software engineering development, Java development, writing shell scripts, and writing SQL scripts. 5 years of experience in programming technologies, including Web API, Microservice, SOAP, LINQ, WCF, VBA, J2EE technologies including JSP, Servlets, EJB, and Tag Libraries, Core Java, Design Patterns, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Spring AOP, Struts, Rest API, JMS, JAXB, XML, JSON, and Web Services. 5 years of experience in web technologies, including HTML, XML, JavaScript, JSP, Classic ASP, JQuery, AngularJS, and Bootstrap. In lieu of a Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience, employer will accept a Masters or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 3 year of experience in the skill sets listed above. Must have ability to work from home.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
