Job Description
THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ENLISTMENT IN THE U.S. ARMY OR ARMY RESERVE

As a Human Resources Specialist in the U.S. Army or Army Reserve, you will be responsible for providing HR support that affects Soldiers' overall welfare and well-being. You will assist leaders with keeping Soldiers combat-ready and effective by reviewing personnel records, processing leaves of absence, preparing, and updating performance evaluations, processing award recommendations, and maintaining electronic record filing systems.

Job Duties
o Assist on all human resource support matters
o Oversight of all strength management and strength distribution actions
o Responsible for the readiness, health and welfare of all Soldiers.
o Postal and personnel accountability support
o Maintain emergency notification data

Experience
Because the U.S. Army provides paid training for all of our military occupational specialties, no specific experience in human resources is necessary.

Training
Job training to become a human resources specialist consists of 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 9 weeks of Advanced Individual Training in Army human resources systems. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and part in the field with on-the-job instruction.

Paid training
Monthly salary (based off pay grade and time in service)

Requirements
Be under 35 years old
Be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (I-551 Green Card holder)
Have a High School Diploma or GED
Have no major medical or mental health issues
Have no major law violations (felony convictions)

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
