The selected candidate will coordinate, negotiate, and manage moderately complex proposals and contracts under direct supervision. Position requires a knowledge of business agreements, government, and commercial contracting methods, including policies, procedures, and regulations, to provide appropriate leadership and support during proposal, fact-find, negotiation, and day-to-day contracting activities. The individual is expected to be familiar with contracting strategy and methods, have good research and presentation skills, and develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers.
This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary''s County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary''s County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Requirements:
Bachelor''s degree and at least one year related professional experience
Working understanding of the U.S. government acquisition and procurement, commercial contracting methods, and export
Negotiation and contract administration experience
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Knowledge of FAR/DFAR, CPFF, CPAF, T&M and FFP contracts
MS Office knowledge
Proposal preparation and price and cost analysis experience
Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance
