Sr. Recruiter

REPORTS TO: Recruiting Manager
STATUS: Exempt
Recruit, source, screen, interview and reference check ITC applicants in positions matching skills and availability.
Perform new hire orientations involving hiring practices and procedures i.e.; time sheets, benefits, payroll, etc. Process Requisitions and Payroll & Personnel paperwork in an expeditious manner.
Develop successful client relations in a professional manner ensuring clients needs are matched with optimal candidates for successful placement. Provide updates to Recruiting Manager and other Recruiting Personnel with regard to clients requisitions and all other recruiting activities in a timely manner.
Provide professional opinion, experience, judgment and evaluation to Recruiting Manager in creating, planning and administrating recruiting policies and procedures and hiring of ITC Recruiting Personnel.
Develop successful interpersonal relationships with Account Management Team ensuring accomplishment of joint Recruiting and Account Management team goals. Attend weekly recruiting team meeting maintaining a high degree of professionalism and crisis management skills.
Analyze and develop advertising and marketing strategies with the approval of Recruiting Manager.
Knowledge of and utilization of proprietary standard software application for the management of client records, employee records and payroll management.
Must have 2 years technical recruiting and/or telecom recruiting experience
Familiarity recruiting for broadband, engineering, wireless, and/or IT industries strongly preferred
SOFTWARE: MS Office intermediate level- Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, ATS and other software as required
INTERNET: Excellent knowledge of Internet browsers and sourcing experience
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Excellent command of English language both verbal and written. Excellent spelling and comprehension skills.
AA/AS degree preferred, or equivalent experience
Work involves standing, talking, hearing, using hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reaching with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and smell.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Employee is expected to be on the job and on time every scheduled workday. Work hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. All overtime and deviation from scheduled work hours need to be authorized by immediate supervisor. If it is necessary that you will be absent or late for any reason, employee needs to call direct supervisor by 8:00 am on the first and each subsequent day the employee will be absent or late. If employee is absent for more than 3 days a doctor's note (explanation) is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
