b'Job SummarynnThe Assistant Manager will be responsible forxc2xa0assisting in the oversight of gym operations to ensure an exceptional xe2x80x9cJudgement Freexe2x80x9d member experience as well as a financially successful club.
nnEssential Duties and Responsibilitiesnn Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff consisting of Member Service Representatives, Trainers and Custodians.
n Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members and guests and ensuring staff follows superior customer service guidelines.
n Assist with Staff Management and provide backup support to Club Manager as needed.
n Assist in scheduling and supervising staff.
n Member service oversight - Ensuringxc2xa0staff is providing a superior customer experience at all times.
n Assist in resolving or escalating employee issues or concerns.
nn Involved in all front desk related activities including:
n Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
n Check members into the system.
n New member sign-up.
n Take prospective members on tours.
n Facilitate all member requests, issues and questions.
nn Assist in overseeing cleanliness and maintenance of facility.
n Assist in ordering of supplies using specific budget based on club requirements.
n Assist in tracking statistics and reports (weekly, monthly, and annually).
n Backup support for any employee who is absent.
nnQualifications/Requirementsnn Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
n Experience working as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness.
n Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.
n Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
n Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic!n Strong problem resolution skills.
n Current CPR Certification required.
n High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
n Must be 18 year of agexc2xa0or older.
nnPhysical Demandsnn Continual standing and walking during shift.
n Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
n Must be able to occassionallyxc2xa0lift up to 50 lbs.
n Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
